DESCRIPTION

Pair of candlesticks. France, ca. 1880-1890.
Bronze.
Measurements: 63 cm (height).

Pair of French candelabra entirely made in gilded bronze. They rise on claw feet culminating in mythical animal head. The shaft, formed by fluted columns and effigies facing each other, culminates in a body of lights formed by five arms embellished with scrolls and volutes. It is an object worked with attention to detail, expressiveness and naturalism.
