Joe Vaux is known both for his work in television -especially as animation director and storyboard artist in the series Family Guy- and for his pictorial work, in which he develops a very personal style that mixes fantasy, horror and humor, creating detailed scenes full of strange creatures and chaotic situations with an ironic tone, which has made him a recognizable figure within contemporary art of surreal and dark aesthetics.
