Marcello Morandini deploys in this composition his characteristic geometric language through a black-and-white structure based on repetition, rhythm and optical tension. The work combines silkscreen and three-dimensional collage, so that curved and straight lines not only organize the surface, but also generate depth, shadows and a changing visual vibration. Morandini thus transforms geometry into a perceptive experience, rigorous and at the same time playful, fully linked to optical and kinetic art.

Marcello Morandini is an Italian artist, designer and architect associated with geometric abstraction and optical art. Since the 1960s he has developed his own language based on the contrast between black and white, seriality, visual movement and the integration between artistic form and architectural space. He has exhibited internationally and his work is present in institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in Saint-Étienne, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Sammlung Ritter in Waldenbuch, among others.
