DESCRIPTION

Measurements: 14 x 11,5 cm.
Representation of San Antonio Abad praying in the desert. His figure is placed next to a promontory on which the open book of the Gospels is shown. A divine illumination shines in the sky. He crosses his hands on his chest and bows his head in a gesture of humility. He wears a Dominican robe. A pig sticks its head out behind the figure, being the animal that mainly identifies him. For, as legend has it, St. Anthony used to let herds and other animals, recognizable by the bell that jingled on their necks, wander through the streets of the villages and the common lands.
