Painting of urban theme and impressionist style. Carriages and passers-by cross in groups or in solitary, wrapped under umbrellas a stately bridge that could be the pont Alexandre III. The rain-soaked streets absorb and reflect in iridescent puddles the silvery colors of the mottled sky. Bare trees border the stone railing.
