Florencio Molina offers us a captivating work starring two naked women endowed with a remarkable eroticism and a stark sexuality. It was made during the artist's Parisian period, notably influenced by the great traditional masters, but categorically modern, which can be contextualized between Art Deco and symbolism.
Before becoming a leading illustrator of the Argentine art scene in the late 1940s, Florencio Molina was present in Paris in the period 1925-30, and especially in the colonial exhibition of 1931. Molina's success was so notorious that in 1942 he was hired by his friend Walt Disney as a technical advisor to the design team at Disney Studios.
