Female portrait of nineteenth-century period. The young woman appears with her hair gathered, crowned by a delicate floral diadem. She wears a white dress covered by a tulle mantilla with lace, where transparencies and veils are boldly represented. In her right hand she holds a closed fan, while a rose adorns the clasp of her handkerchief. She looks at us with serious, almost solemn black eyes, which stand out against her fair skin. Her features are fine, her lips perfectly delineated, and a soft flush on her cheeks balances the gravity of her gaze.
