Romantic view of the Venetian lagoon, wrapped in the melancholy of a twilight that dilutes the sky and the sea in gold and amber. Gondolas of different sizes glide slowly. Their dark silhouettes silhouetted against the clarity of the water. In the distance, the sailboats advance calmly in the glow of the sunset. The shore is irregular, with old houses that seem to have survived time: worn facades, walls over which wild vegetation climbs. In the background, rising above the city skyline, the solemn church domes stand out against the fiery, iridescent sky.
