Multifaceted artist, Gerardo Porto has dedicated his artistic production to the realization of stained glass, ceramics, posters and even scenographic decorations. He received a scholarship from the Diputación de La Coruña to study Fine Arts in Paris, where he lived until he moved to the Netherlands and Italy. Innovative in his productions, Porto has experimented with glass, achieving pieces of Art Nouveau trend, and has worked from watercolor and gouache to ceramics. His international fame rests on the series dedicated to the carriages, in which he achieves the sensation of movement through fluid brushstrokes that sink their roots in Turner. He has held exhibitions in numerous European cities.
