Painter formed in the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi of Barcelona, he completed his studies in Brussels. In 1918 he joined the Barcelona group Nou Ambient, with which he exhibited several times until 1932. He has lived in Mallorca since 1940, where he held an anthological exhibition in 1979. His work began within a renovating concept close to cubism, which later led to a post-impressionist figuration, centered on Catalan and Mallorcan landscapes. He made his individual debut in 1924, in the Dalmau room in Barcelona, where he continued to exhibit annually until 1954. He also had exhibitions in various parts of Spain, as well as in Paris, London, Rome and several American cities. In 1982 he was named adopted son of Andraixt. His work is present in the MACBA.
