The Zamoran Alberto Hernandez developed a colorist work, of naïff roots and nabi atmosphere, but at the same time rooted in the customs and the people of his land. Alberto Hernández lived in Barcelona practically all his life. The exhibitions of the works of Alberto Hernandez have been very important and have toured many halls and museums around the world. From 1929 in Zamora, 1933 Santander, 1934 Oviedo and Barcelona (Sala Rovira) 1951. From 1941 to 1973 all his work is acquired, exclusively, by a group of American "dealers" and placed in important art collections in the United States of America, Germany and France. In 1973, already freed from his commitments with the foreign market, he presents his work again in Spain: Zamora 1973; Valladolid 1973; Madrid (Lazaro Gallery) 1974; Madrid (Urbis Club) 1979; Barcelona (Meca Palace-Picasso Museum) 1928, Zamora 1982; Barcelona (SYRA Galleries) 1982. From 1983 to 1990 his exhibition followed trajectories through the Halls and Museums of Spain.
