RAMÓN NOÉ HIERRO (Barcelona, 1922 - Sabadell, Barcelona, 2007).

Painter and draftsman, Ramón Noé was formed with Agustí Bages and in the School of Arts and Trades, with Manel Pallarès as teacher. He then furthered his training at the School of Arts and Crafts in Zaragoza, the city where he exhibited for the first time, in the Gaspar's room. Finally, in 1943 he entered the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando and the Escuela de Cerámica de La Moncloa, in Madrid. After military service, he returned to Barcelona in 1947 and studied fired enamel at the Massana School, where he was appointed professor three years later. Noé is currently represented at the Museum of Modern Art of Tarragona, the Museum of Modern Art of Sabadell and the Museum of Modern Art of Terrassa.
