We see in this canvas a work of symmetrical composition and nevertheless anticlassical thanks to the slight asymmetry and the scale of the motif with respect to the space, which gives it monumental dimensions, practically going out of the pictorial space.

An artist with a personal figurative language, Héctor Ortega approaches traditional themes such as the figure, the landscape or the still life, showing an expressive concept of color and texture, moving on occasion on the border between figuration and abstraction. Throughout his career, Ortega has held important exhibitions in Spain and abroad, with special mention to those held at the Sammer Gallery and the Kreisler Gallery in Madrid, the Borghi & Co. Society in New York, the International Monetary Fund, the Chicago Art Fair and ARCO in Madrid and Europart, among others.
