Measurements: 46 x 38 cm; 64 x 56 cm (frame).
Specialized in landscape, marine and still life, De Soto traveled for years around Spain with a caravan, which he used as a studio and exhibition space for his work. He made his individual debut in Barcelona in 1944, and the following year he was awarded a prize at the Montjuic Spring Exhibition. His pictorial conception oscillates between photographic realism and surrealist symbolism. He participated in several group exhibitions, as well as in artistic contests and competitions held in Barcelona and other Catalan cities.
