Painter of self-taught training, since childhood he reproduced in pencil the most emblematic vehicles of the Ferrari brand, which later would be the protagonist of most of his paintings, especially Formula 1. His technical training imprints a great fidelity to the models he reproduces in oil, developing a wide range of reds. His is a language that is both precise, anchored in realism, and enormously expressive, seeking to translate onto canvas the sensation of speed and the power of motor racing. Balaguer uses both oil and acrylic, and has held exhibitions in Barcelona and Sitges.
