Carlos Pulido is a self-taught painter born in 1967 in Val de Santo Domingo (Toledo), although he has lived in Madrid since 1997. Throughout his career he has built a solid career in the field of contemporary realism, participating in numerous exhibitions both collective and individual, inside and outside Spain.
His work has been presented in outstanding spaces such as the Santa Cruz Museum in Toledo, the Casa de Vacas del Retiro in Madrid, and several renowned galleries such as Jorge Alcolea (Madrid and Barcelona), Plus One Gallery (London) and Santiago Rusiñol (Sitges). In addition, he has represented Spain in important international art events in cities such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul, Bologna, and Sintra.
Over the years he has taken part in relevant fairs such as Feriarte (Madrid), the Korea International Art Fair (KIAF) or the Asia Contemporary Art Show, consolidating his presence in the contemporary art circuit. His painting, focused on realism, has been recognized for its precise technique and aesthetic sensitivity, which has allowed him to be part of collectives such as the GRECO Group and to participate in thematic cycles such as 13 Miradas al Realismo (13 Views of Realism).
With a career that spans from the mid-eighties to the present, Pulido has been able to maintain a coherent line in her work, evolving without losing her artistic identity.
