This variegated interior focuses our gaze on an elegant chair covered with upholstery. Behind it is a console in carved wood with festoons, garlands and rosettes, on which rests an oriental vase in enameled porcelain. A mirror with baroque carvings hangs on the wall. As a backdrop to such a mundane image, the wallpaper that acts as a backdrop is striking, with plant motifs in mustard and various types of blue.
