Lyonel Laurenceau began his artistic training in Haiti, although he continued his education in the United States and France.An internationally renowned painter, Lyonel Laurenceau has won numerous awards around the world. He was awarded first prize at the New York World's Fair in 1966 and later moved to Montreal, Canada.His works have been exhibited in numerous countries, including the United States, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and many others.
His work adheres to the contemporary currents of Symbolic Expressionism.
