Ninke Kast was a Dutch artist whose career falls within the modern and abstract tradition of post-war European art. From an early age she showed exceptional aptitude for drawing, which enabled her to be admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, where she developed a solid artistic training. Her education was later complemented by studies in art pedagogy between 1946 and 1953, as well as at the Rotterdam Academy of Art (1969-1972). During his lifetime, Kast participated in several exhibitions, and his production continued to be exhibited posthumously, as was the case in 2024 at the Galerie Kunst op Vijf in Coevorden.
