The painting shows a quiet and quiet Mediterranean bay, with a terraced village that clings to the hillside and is gently reflected in the water. Hernán Picó made his individual debut at the Sala Busquets in Barcelona in 1945. Throughout his career he held numerous exhibitions in Spain, Mexico, Germany, France and Belgium, and was a professor at the Massana School between 1970 and 1975.
