Jordi Cano's work navigated in the nineties between abstraction and a peculiar figuration of synthetic character, both in the form and in the use of color, sometimes close to informalism. In this sense, his painting is also interested in serendipity, the doodle, the informal stroke that reveals the corporeality of the artist and chance.

Jordi Cano Cunill came into contact with the Catalan artistic avant-garde at a very young age, taking an early interest in the plastic arts as well as in theater and poetry, and joining various poetry groups. In 1979 he came into contact with the theatrical group Els Joglars, collaborating in various productions. He has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Vic, Ripoll, Granada, Cuenca and La Coruña.
