Scene of intense luminosity, centered on a farmhouse open to the landscape. The architectures of reddish roofs, the dirt road, the small figures and the mountainous bottom compose a kind and vitalist vision of the rural environment.

Enrique Julián Suárez Alba was trained in the Schools of Arts and Crafts of Pamplona and Vitoria. He participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, among them the Hispano-American Biennials of Havana and Barcelona, as well as in various editions of the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts. He was president of the Agrupación de Acuarelistas Vascos, artistic advisor of the Caja de Ahorros Municipal de Vitoria and member of different cultural institutions in Alava. In 1981, one of his works was used as the basis for the commemorative stamp for the 800th anniversary of the foundation of Vitoria.
