Laura Sibill is a Catalan painter linked to the Barcelona art scene since the 1970s. Initially trained with the painter Víctor Esteban Ripaux in Barcelona, she later completed her studies with Joaquim Torrens Lladó at the Escola Lliure del Mediterrani, an experience that contributed decisively to consolidate her pictorial language.
She is a founding member of the Grup d'Art Els Quatre Cantons and a member of the Reial Cercle Artístic de Barcelona, institutions with which she has maintained a close relationship throughout her career. Since 1975 she has exhibited regularly in numerous cities in Spain, such as Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, A Coruña, Marbella and Almería, as well as in Italy and other European countries. His work is also part of private collections in Spain, the United States, Italy and Portugal.
In addition to her pictorial production, Laura Sibill has developed works of design and applied arts, making posters, cava labels, magazine covers, logos and murals, demonstrating a creative versatility linked to the Catalan cultural and graphic field. Her painting is characterized by a luminous sensibility and an intimate vision of the landscape and the figure, heir to the contemporary Mediterranean tradition.
