Miquel Gironés develops a language of pop heritage, of juxtaposed flat colors, looking for contrast and highlighting the line, which regains prominence. His compositions are of an iconic classicism, and in them he takes advantage of plastic resources of abstraction to enhance the expressiveness of clearly figurative images. He began his career with the exhibition "Torretes", held in 1975 in his native Tarragona, followed by the exhibition "Jut" in 1976 (Segovia).
