"From the beginning, the themes developed in my paintings were connected in some way with my places, my travels and the feelings I constantly face. With these triggers I focus my work on the creation of new spaces, far from human figuration and far from situations and concepts possible in reality. In this way I can fully immerse myself in the experience of painting and concentrate on color, form and brushstroke. I believe that in this way, painting takes its true path. I work in large formats that allow me to get inside the painting, to get involved in it with each movement."
