Claudio Giulianelli's painting is characterized by a symbolic and timeless figuration that drinks directly from the Italian and Flemish pictorial tradition, reinterpreted from a contemporary and deeply allegorical sensibility. In this work, the female figure appears as the narrative axis and guiding power of the scene: a woman-jester, an ambiguous being between the sacred and the profane, who holds the invisible threads of destiny. Her serene and frontal gesture contrasts with the symbolic charge of her hands, turned into instruments of control and creation.

Claudio Giulianelli develops a pictorial work based on a deep research of ancient Italian and Flemish painting, conceptually linked to medieval hermetic philosophy, where the female figure appears recurrently as a symbolic axis and force that drives the world. Throughout his career he has participated continuously in group exhibitions, museums and international art fairs in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the United States, with presence in cities such as Istanbul, Paris, Lille, Rome, Stuttgart, Venice -participating in the 54th Venice Biennale in the Italian Pavilion curated by Vittorio Sgarbi-, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Milan, London, Brussels, Innsbruck, Abu Dhabi, Moscow, Monte Carlo, New York, Miami and Los Angeles, among others. In parallel, he has developed a solid career of solo exhibitions since 1986 in institutional spaces and reference galleries such as Rome, Milan, San Gimignano, Hangzhou, Abu Dhabi, London, Sweden, Venice and Brussels, consolidating an international career marked by conceptual coherence, symbolic research and a sustained presence in the contemporary art circuit.
