Joana Martos' painting focuses on the human figure as a space of emotion and consciousness. Her works combine an expressive figuration with a loose and vibrant brushstroke, where color builds psychological atmospheres rather than descriptive scenarios. The scenes, often intimate and silent, convey moods linked to contemplation, memory and inner experience. Her pictorial language dialogues with contemporary sensibility, integrating influences from audiovisual art and an introspective gaze that connects body, landscape and perception.

Joana Martos has been developing for more than three decades an artistic career linked to the visual arts and, since the last decade, to the audiovisual field. After starting her training in multimedia in 2012, she extends her studies in graphic design, visual narrative, animation and programming, which leads her to pursue higher studies in Art at the School of Art and Design of Vic, where she specializes in video art projects. In 2018 she presents at the Museu d'Art de la Pell de Vic her project Miradas de la India, the result of a travel experience that decisively marks her visual production. In parallel, she develops immersive projects such as Geometría Sagrada, oriented to the exploration of consciousness through image and sound. Her artistic practice is complemented by writing, illustration and teaching, integrating art, personal creation and inner development in a coherent and transversal work.
