Mª José Puerto Marín is a Spanish painter linked to expressionist abstraction. Trained in Technical Architecture, Philosophy and Fine Arts, her work is nourished by a solid intellectual and structural base that translates into a painting of great emotional intensity. Influenced by Turner, Matisse, Rothko and the abstract expressionism of the New York School, she conceives the canvas as a space to channel sensations and inner states through color and matter.

He has had solo exhibitions in galleries and institutional galleries in Madrid, Granada, Malaga, Stockholm and New York, and has participated in international fairs such as Affordable Art Fair in London, New York and Hong Kong. His work is part of institutional collections in Spain and internationally, as well as numerous private collections in Europe and the United States.
