Lot composed of 170 pieces; twelve fish shovels, twelve fish forks, twelve table knives, twelve table forks, twelve table spoons, twelve snack spoons, twelve snack forks, twelve snack knives, twelve coffee spoons, twelve dessert forks, twelve dessert spoons, twelve dessert knives and fourteen serving pieces.
The piece is signed by José Amor, a silversmith from Barcelona. Silver work in the twentieth century underwent a remarkable evolution, especially in the field of goldsmithing for the production of tableware utensils. Throughout the century, the design of these objects reflected the stylistic and functional transformations of the time, from the influence of Art Nouveau and Art Deco to the formal purification of modernism and industrial design.
