DESCRIPTION

Silver.

Measurements: 27 x 15 x 15 cm.
Weight: 604 g.
Pair of silver candlesticks whose aesthetics is inscribed within the Spanish historicist tradition of the twentieth century, faithfully reinterpreting the baroque and classicist models of the eighteenth century. Of balanced proportions and turned profile, the pieces have shafts articulated by knots and moldings, resting on polygonal stepped bases, a characteristic feature of eighteenth-century peninsular silverware.
The silver execution gives the ensemble a timeless presence, while the formal refinement and the careful modulation of volumes reveal a technical mastery typical of workshops specialized in the recovery of historical languages. Far from being mere reproductions, these candlesticks offer a reinterpretation of a classic model, adapted to the taste and quality standards of the 20th century.
