DESCRIPTION
ACME Studio pen (USA). Design by ANDREA BRANZI (Italy, 1938-2023)
Model "Houndstooth" PB01.
No tip and no refill.
In original case.
Documentation enclosed.
Measurements: 13,3 cm (length).
Elegant ACME Studio ballpoint pen belonging to the "Houndstooth" PB01 model, designed by the renowned Italian architect and design theorist Andrea Branzi. The piece features a refined graphic design in shades of blue and violet, where overlapping circular shapes create a fluid, dynamic and profoundly contemporary visual effect.
The barrel of the pen has a glossy finish that enhances the intensity of the color, while the chrome-plated metal details - clip, trims and finials - add contrast and a sense of solidity. The cap bears the signature ACME engraving, the company's seal of quality.
Although it does not include a tip or refill, it retains its aesthetic integrity and is presented in its original case, accompanied by documentation, elements that reinforce its interest as a collector's item.
Andrea Branzi is one of the essential names in Italian design in the second half of the 20th century. Co-founder of the historic Archizoom Associati group, he introduced a critical, conceptual and profoundly poetic vision of design. His work encompasses architecture, industrial design, design theory and cultural curating, and he is the author of fundamental texts.
Since 1985, ACME Studio has been collaborating with the most prestigious international architects, artists and designers to create high quality writing instruments and accessories. Its editions are characterized by signature graphic design, durable finishes, careful production and collectibility.
