The Parker Duofold Mosaic Blue, available in both fountain pen and rollerball versions, is one of the most original special editions in the modern Duofold collection. Introduced in 2001, it draws inspiration from the mosaics of classical antiquity and was created using an innovative manufacturing process that allowed for the creation of complex geometric patterns in acrylic resin—a technique previously unseen at Parker.

The fountain pen is part of the Duofold International size and features an 18-karat solid gold nib, decorated with Parker’s “Banner” emblem and filled using cartridges or a converter. The rollerball pen features exactly the same design and finishes and uses Parker liquid ink refills, creating an elegant writing set.

From a collector’s perspective, the Duofold Mosaic Blue holds a prominent place in Parker’s recent history. It was the first in the Mosaic series and one of the last special editions manufactured at the Newhaven plant in England before the Duofold line was revamped. Its innovative finish, limited production run, and unique design make it one of the most sought-after contemporary Duofold models among both collectors of high-end fountain pens and enthusiasts of the historic Parker brand.
