Table clock designed by the Dutch artist Adrianus Willem Uithol in Art Deco style. The dial forms a dynamic triangle and on the black surface metal buttons replace the traditional numbering, which gives great elegance to the clock, which includes as a zoomorphic foot sculpture of a leaping gazelle.
Adrianus Willem Uithol was known as a designer of table clocks inspired by Bauhaus and Art Deco, as well as for his abstract metal sculptures. Before turning to sculpture, he was the largest bell caster in South Holland from the 1930s to the early 1950s.
