Vintage ROLEX Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch, ref. 1601, serial no. 21334XX, 1970s.
Stainless steel case. Dial featuring the U.S. presidential motto "E Pluribus Unum"; possibly not original (aftermarket). Hour markers are applied indices. Baton-style hands, with a central seconds hand. Auxiliary date window at the 3 o’clock position. Plexiglass crystal and Cyclops lens. Bezel with the model’s characteristic fluting and a fluted crown bearing the brand’s logo. Leather strap with buckle clasp; not original. Automatic movement. Caliber 1570. It works. Watch is not water-resistant because it lacks a gasket.
Measurements: 36 mm (case diameter).
