Table lamp in Austrian porcelain, signed Doebrich, depicting two children of great naturalism, in round bulk, playing in a snowy setting, in front of a huge snowball. The stage and the figures are covered with a colorless glaze, and decorated with colored glazes in soft blue tones, winter atmosphere. On the other hand, the ball remains in biscuit porcelain, seeking both contrast and naturalistic reflection of the real aspect of snow. Moreover, this ball acts as a light diffuser, so its matte texture diffuses a soft light, without excessive brightness. Electrified.
Marks and numbering on the back. Sculptor's signature on the base.
Provenance: Spanish private collection, formed between 1970 and 2010.
Some old restoration. Normal wear due to use and the passage of time.
