This conical-format pitcher is distinguished by the curved forms that oscillate on its surface. It culminates at the top in a golden motif that embellishes the stopper, giving it a triumphal appearance.
If there is one thing the Parisian design duo Garouste & Bonetti is known for, it is their extraordinarily inventive and unconventional, dazzling and fanciful creations. Trained in interior architecture at the École Camondo in Paris, Elizabeth Garouste designed set and costume designs for Jean-Michel Ribes and worked in the fashion business before partnering with Bonetti in 1981, while Swiss-born designer Mattia Bonneti studied textiles at the Centro Scolastico per l'Industria Artistica in Lugano. He has worked as an interior and product designer, as well as a photographer, and has a studio in Paris. In 1991 they were named Designers of the Year at the International Furniture Fair.
