With a circular base, this vase is decorated with multilayer glass representing foliate motifs. It is a piece defined by the textures and the harmonious palette of colors, which veer between black and burgundy.
"Cristallerie d'Art Degué" was a French glassworks founded by David Guéron (1893-1979) in 1926 in Compiègne and with workshops in Paris. It was one of the most important glass manufactures of the Art Deco period, competing with other major houses such as Daum, Schneider or Gallé. It specialized in Art Deco glass made by the technique of multilayer glass, hot applications or enameled glass.
