Decorative box, made in Sèvres style around 1900, reflecting the historicist taste of the French production of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Inspired by the famous Manufacture nationale de Sèvres.
The design responds to the decorative models of French neoclassical taste reinterpreted in later times. This type of piece was highly appreciated in the European market for its ornamental value and its evocation of 18th century court craftsmanship.
