Painter, sculptor and above all cartoonist, since his early youth Bon collaborated with many Catalan magazines, among which are "Talía", "En Patufet", "Papitu", "L'Esquella de la Torratxa" and "Empori". He made his first important exhibitions during the second decade of the century, and in the twenties he devoted himself mainly to poster design, being awarded a gold medal in this discipline at the Universal Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1925, and the gold medal in the poster competition of the International Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929. Between 1927 and 1929 he lived in New York, where he also held several successful exhibitions, collaborated with publications such as the "Herald Tribune", "Times" and "Morning Post", and was awarded a prize at the exhibition of The National Club.
