With a degree in Fine Arts from the Sant Jordi Faculty of Barcelona, Constantino Mateos combines his artistic practice with teaching since 1978, as a drawing teacher. Although he has only held two solo exhibitions of his work, both at the Sala Atelier in Barcelona (1997 and 2003), Mateos has taken part in various artistic competitions, such as the Sala Parés Young Painting Prize, the Ynglada Guillot or the 2008 Fundació les Arts i els Artistes Competition, in which he was selected, and since 1997 he has participated in various group exhibitions and fairs. A catalog of his work has also been published, reviewing his production since 1987. He is currently represented in several private collections.
