Drawer and musician, Xavier Cugat lived a long time in the United States, where he carried out a very important work as orchestra conductor in the field of the light music. Between 1925 and 1928 he collaborated as a cartoonist with the American newspaper "Los Angeles Times". He held his first individual exhibition in Barcelona in 1972, an exhibition of his famous caricatures of famous people. Since then he held personal exhibitions both in Spain and in the United States.
