This work by Anna Miquel presents a spontaneous and expressive composition where the traditional still life is reinterpreted from a gestural and contemporary language; the loose stroke and the overlapping of chromatic planes generate a vibrant image, in which color and line prevail over the faithful representation of the object.

Anna Miquel is an artist trained at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Sant Jordi (Barcelona), whose career combines painting and animated film, disciplines in which she has been recognized with several awards. She has held numerous exhibitions, also participating in national and international fairs, and her work is present in collections and institutions such as the Coca-Cola Foundation, La Caixa or Banc de Sabadell. At the same time, she developed a long teaching career as a professor at the University of Barcelona, consolidating a broad and multidisciplinary career.
