This work by Anna Miquel reinterprets the still life genre from a gestural and contemporary vision, where the spontaneous stroke and the superposition of color generate a dynamic and vibrant composition, in which the form is suggested rather than defined.
Anna Miquel is an artist trained at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Sant Jordi (Barcelona), whose career combines painting and animated film, disciplines in which she has been recognized with several awards. She has held numerous exhibitions, also participating in national and international fairs, and her work is present in collections and institutions such as the Coca-Cola Foundation, La Caixa or Banc de Sabadell. At the same time, she developed a long teaching career as a professor at the University of Barcelona, consolidating a broad and multidisciplinary career.
