Bartolomé Seguí Palou is a Spanish cartoonist, illustrator and comic author recognized for his elegant and detailed style, influenced by the European clear line and classical illustration. He began his career in magazines and illustrated press during the 80s and achieved greater notoriety in the world of comics with works done together with screenwriter Felipe Hernández Cava, such as Las serpientes ciegas, a graphic novel that won the National Comic Prize in Spain in 2009. In addition to his work in comics, Seguí has developed an extensive career as an editorial illustrator and graphic artist, standing out for sophisticated compositions, cinematic atmospheres and a very careful visual narrative, which has made him a leading figure in comics and contemporary Spanish illustration.
