A painter and sculptor associated with geometric abstraction and abstract art with American and Spanish roots, Rinaldo Paluzzi trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. His career was marked by a deep interest in the possibilities of geometry applied to art and in the construction of architectural spaces. In 1958, he moved to Spain, where he delved deeper into the principles of constructive and geometric art. His compositions, clearly inspired by Pythagorean principles, are structured through geometric forms, rhythms, and volumes that seek to create a unique perception of space. This is complemented by a carefully studied color scheme, used to accentuate the depth and balance of the forms.
His work is represented in prominent collections and institutions, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, the Juan March Foundation in Madrid, and the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California.
