AGNES BELL (20th century).
“Portraits.”
Set of four drawings on paper.
One of them is signed.
Measurements: 20.5 x 15 cm; 33.5 x 28.5 cm (frame).
Set of four portraits on paper, representative of the elegant and sophisticated aesthetic that characterized fashion illustration and female portraiture during the 1920s and 1930s. These works reflect the aesthetic tastes of the interwar period, closely aligned with the graphic language of Art Deco and the glamorous image of the great Hollywood stars.
