This Space Age table lamp stands out for its futuristic and refined silhouette, inspired by the aerodynamic forms of the space age of the 60s and 70s. Its tapered body with a glossy white finish contrasts with the flat top disc, evoking a flying saucer or spacecraft. The clean, geometric, monochromatic aesthetic reinforces its retro-futuristic character.
Space Age is the name given to the period in which the space race was launched, beginning in 1957 with the launch of Sputnik. This fever to conquer space also reached design, and during the sixties and seventies a decoration model was developed based on an idyllic vision of the future, and everything to do with spaceships, new technologies and innovative materials.
