Sumptuous hanging lamp in golden metal that presents an intricate and studied arrangement of branches with lanceolate leaves, whose zenithal vision shows a beautiful radial rosette. Alternating plant branches with thin arms topped with conical lampshades. The patina and the brightness of the finish also stand out.
Stylistically it is very close to the Palmesa lamps by Maison Jansen. Maison Jansen decorated the residences of such important personalities as the Kennedys, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Coco Chanel and the March family. Founded in 1880 by Dutch designer Jean-Henri Jansen (1854-1928), its aesthetic was based on French furniture combined with aesthetic influences from around the world. His most coveted pieces reflected the influence of antique designs from the eras of Louis XIV, Louis XVI, the Directory and the Empire, as well as objects Jansen encountered during his travels to Japan and Turkey.
