The Hekla lamp, designed by Jón Ólafsson and Peter B. Luhtersson for the renowned Danish lighting company Fog & Mørup in 1960, exemplifies the clean, minimalist aesthetic of mid-century Scandinavian design. Inspired by the iconic Icelandic volcano from which it takes its name, the Hekla lamp features a distinctive silhouette that balances form and function.
