Set of six mid-century Danish dining chairs, whose design's beauty lies in the union of functionality and refined aesthetics. The structure is based on clean, straight lines that acquire fluidity when combined with rounded angles and soft curves, building an organic, natural-looking whole, which is also expressed through the natural grain of the Rio rosewood.
Ib Kofod-Larsen was a Danish designer who was active mainly during the 1950s and 1960s, creating pieces that are even more desirable today than when they were produced. Kofod-Larsen designed mainly storage and seating furniture for the Swedish market, although he was not a great success in his time because his organic design was too extreme for the taste of his time. In Denmark, on the other hand, his creations for the firm Faarup gained immediate recognition.
